The Fourth RCDS workshop with the participation of former civil servants from Nagorno-Karabakh

On May 16, the fourth workshop organized within the framework of the Regional Center for Democracy and Security’s project “Strengthening the Democratic Engagement of Nagorno-Karabakh Refugees” took place with the participation of former public servants from Nagorno-Karabakh.

 

During the workshop, electoral processes expert Mariam Hoveyan presented the amendments made to Armenia’s Electoral Code, addressing the misuse of administrative resources, issues related to party financing, and other challenges present during the pre-election period.

 

Digitalization programs specialist Anna Gradlyan discussed how citizens can use various digital platforms to participate in and influence decision-making processes.

 

Ani Grigoryan, head of the fact-checking team at CivilNet, delivered a talk on media literacy. She spoke about combating disinformation, media hygiene, and ethical journalism.
