Since our founding, RCDS has emerged as a leading think tank in Armenia, working with both local and international partners to shape informed policies. Our research and analysis have been widely cited by the international press, and at least three of our experts have contributed to or been quoted in major global outlets. We are not a one-person organization—we are a team committed to Armenia’s democratic and secure future.
In the wake of the ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh, RCDS has actively worked to foster the integration of Artsakh Armenians in Armenia. We have welcomed two experts from Artsakh into our team, who have been instrumental in both security analysis and refugee support efforts.
When the U.S. Helsinki Commission sought expert testimony on Armenia’s democratic development and external threats at a September 2024 congressional hearing, RCDS was the only organization from Armenia invited to testify. This underscores the credibility and impact of our work on both national and international levels.
